Hi. My name is Jenna McMullen. I am an Industrial Design student at Carleton University. A few things you should know about me; I love my dog, as you can see in the picture to the left. I go to school in Ottawa but I grew up in a small town outside of Kingston, and I'm still finding my way around the city. I am currently in my 4th year of university.

I was the Carleton Industrial Design Student Association President for the 2018/2019 academic year. One of the events I organized was an Industrial Design conference in February 2019 called

This past summer, I was a design intern at BCR Woodworking in Vars, Ontario. My summer included drafting millwork for commercial and residential buildings, I worked with the client, the workshop staff, architects and engineers to design millwork using Cabinet Vision 10.

Last May, I went to Tanzania, Africa. I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and their Street Outreach Program. I also volunteered with a clinic called Pamoja Tunaweza. Working with an organization called NAFGEM, I taught local teenage girls how to use Microsoft Word for their schooling. It was an amazing experience to see the technology and design opportunities they have in Africa.

Through school and work experience, I'm skilled in AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Keyshot and Cabinet Vision. I have experience in workshops and working with many different materials; such as, plastics, metals, and woods.
